"Your Connection is Not Private" Error

You, or a donor, might have seen an error that looks something like this:

Fear not! The issue here is that you've added in a "www." in front of the URL (i.e. typing in www.demo.betterworld.org instead of just demo.betterworld.org or https://demo.betterworld.org)

To fix this, just remove the 'www' and proceed to the original site. If you're an administrator of the auction and you are sharing the link to your donors, here's a helpful article on 'what link to send people to bid'. It's about auctions, but it pertains to any campaign type on BetterWorld.

Note: As to the underlying reason behind this, the longer answer gets technical pretty quickly. Essentially, if you already have a subdomain on a site (for example, 'your-organization.betterworld.org', and then you add on a www in front of that, the browser says 'hey - something fishy might be going on' there are two subdomains -- the 'www' and the 'your-organization').
