Can I fill out the item donation form on behalf of a business?

Yes, but here are some things to keep in mind...

This form is meant for you to send it the businesses themselves to fill out, the benefit of this is the business does most of the work for you (like adding an item description and uploading photos) which you can then edit later on after you import the item into your auction. If the business fills out the form, they will also be automatically emailed a receipt thanking them for their donation with all necessary information for tax-filing purposes.




You can use the item donation form to log donations from businesses; however, a BetterWorld account is needed to do this. So if you are logged in as yourself and fill out the form, then it will say the item was "donated" by you. Once you import it into your auction, you can change the donor information, but it would probably be easier for you to just add the item as you would normally add a "new item" on your dashboard and put who it was donated by! ​

If you want to log items donated and have a receipt auto generated, you can do this yourself using this form, and  edit the 'donor's name' later (since it will be your name if you are logged in) and forward the receipt to the business. Or, you can log out and create an account for the donor (entering their email and creating a password for them) then it will automatically email them the receipt.
