Absolutely! We started BetterWorld in the fall of 2013, fresh after graduating from the University of Virginia. For seven years, we built the software, slowly adding features and working hand-in-hand with early clients. Over those years, we personally ran hundreds of events and processed millions of dollars in donations -- hands-on experiences we leveraged to build a better platform that not only helps raise more money but saves dozens of hours of precious time. In the spring of 2020, we opened up BetterWorld nationally, launching as the first free, easy-to-use, interconnected fundraising platform.
Since then, we've grown like crazy! At last count, we have over 95,000 organizations using our tools to raise funds for causes that matter. It's been a long journey, but we're so excited to keep creating and improving tools to serve organizations and those who seek to do good in the world.
